Change is part of life, and changes can bring emotional disruption. You may be navigating bereavement, a separation, family shifts, relocation, retirement or other transitions that feel overwhelming or disorientating, even if they might be welcome ones.
In therapy, we create a space to explore what is happening for you emotionally, practically, and internally. Whether you're letting go of something familiar or stepping into the unknown, our work together can help you understand your response, process what's happening and reconnect you with what matters most to you.
You don't have to navigate these changes alone. This is a place to slow down, make sense of what's unfolding, and begin to move forward with clarity and steadiness.
You may feel stuck in survival mode, constantly alert, exhausted, anxious or disconnected. Trauma can shape the way we related and continue to relate to ourselves, others and the world often long after the event has passed.
Here you will find a calm, grounded space to begin unpacking that experience, at your pace. I work with a trauma-informed and somatic approach, which means I pay attention not just to your thoughts and emotions, but also to what is happening to your body.
Whether you've experienced complex trauma, a specific event, or chronic overwhelm, therapy can support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and a return to feeling safe in your own skin.
There is no need to rush or explain everything, we start where you are.
Maybe you find yourself questioning your value, doubting your decisions or struggling with an internal critic that's hard to silence?
These feelings often go deeper than surface confidence, they may stem from early experiences, cultural pressures or unmet emotional needs.
In this work, we gently explore the layers of your identity, beliefs, internal voice and the different parts of yourself. You may notice old patterns , build stronger boundaries, or rediscover parts of yourself that have been buried beneath shame or silence.
Through reflective dialogue, creative exploration, and supportive challenge, we work toward a more grounded compassionate relationship with yourself, not just in how you think, but in how you feel.
You don't need to have a clear reason to start therapy. Many people come with a general sense that something isn't quite right, a fog they can't explain, a restlessness, or a quiet ache or feeling of sadness that just doesn't go away.
Perhaps you are holding a lot emotionally or simply tired of holding it all together, or you want to understand yourself better but don't know where to start, that's okay.
Counselling can offer a space to explore those unidentified feelings without pressure to label or solve them right away. Together we can find language for your experience. gently uncover what's beneath the surface, and support you in moving toward whatever healing looks like for you.
I do not offer a crisis service, if you or someone else needs immediate help dial 999 or 111 or please click here for information about Additional Support,
You may have something troubling you that doesn't fit within the categories above, you can still book in a discovery call and if I can't support you, I can recommend or refer you to someone I think can.
